Who we are

What this site keeps
Your answers in the funnel (venue, age, discipline, experience, goal, plan in mind) stay in your browser: in the page address and the tab's memory. The participant's name you type stays in your tab too. None of it reaches us until you submit the booking form.
The booking form
The form at step 7 is provided by Gymdesk, our club management software. It collects: the participant's full name, date of birth and gender, the parent or guardian's name, email and phone number (WhatsApp), and, optionally, the address and any medical condition or special need the coach should know about.
We use this to run the trial session, contact you about it and, if you join, manage the membership. It is stored by Gymdesk (servers outside Mauritius) and seen by the Impulsion Academy team. Gymdesk sends you a confirmation email.
The WhatsApp buttons open the app on your phone with a prepared message. Nothing is sent until you tap Send. The conversation is kept on our WhatsApp Business number.
Cookies and analytics
Only with your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel to learn which ads help families find us. No name or contact detail is shared with them. You can decline in the banner; your choice is remembered in your browser.
How long we keep data
Trial requests that do not lead to a membership are deleted at most 12 months after the session. Members' data is kept for the membership and then for as long as accounting rules require.
Your rights
Under the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017 you can ask to see, correct or delete the data about you or your child, or object to its use. Message us on WhatsApp at +230 5255 2251. You can also contact the Data Protection Office of Mauritius.
Children
Information about a child is given by their parent or guardian, who remains our contact.
